What is the 100 Day Challenge?
The 100 Day Challenge is a fitness challenge where in the course of 100 days on a daily basis (24hrs) participants complete a total of:
How do we keep score?
Please join our official tracking site at www.100days.co to add your daily totals. This currently under construction.
This is how the tracking site works:
In the course of a given day each time you complete 100 reps of each exercise you will mark 1 in the corresponding box. If you complete a total of 200 reps of each exercise you would give yourself a score of 2 and so on. If you do nothing then you get the big goose egg 0. This is an honor system people.
What do you win?
The honor and self satisfaction of completing the challenge. The muscles of getting in great shape are a killer bonus. Probably some bragging rights too, and you get to help an amazing cause!
Who are we going to help - Charity Function?
Due to the success of last year’s 100 Day Challenge we have decided to add in an opt-in charity component. This year we will be supporting The Girl Effect. There are 600 million adolescent girls living in poverty in the developing world. By giving one of these girls a chance, you start the girl effect. When girls have safe places to meet, education, legal protection, health care, and access to training and job skills, they can thrive. And if they thrive, everyone around them thrives, too.
How do we raise money?
OBJECTIVE: Raise $5000.00
Saturday, September 20, 2015 5:00pm - 7:30pm - Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The beers will be flowing and the gold medals plus trophies will be awarded
Fitness and Challenge Tips
You have 24 hours to complete your daily 100's. Break it up as needed to match your fitness level. Take it easy when you start. Warm up first. All forms of sit ups count. Variety is the spice of life. Adjust your hand position for push ups from a standard position, to a triceps position, to a wide shoulder position. This will let you use different muscles in order to distribute the effort.
Let’s keep this close people. All participants should be vetted and invited by a participating member.
